Refund and Subscription Policy

Billing, cancellation, refunds and data retention rules

WYLE's trial access gives you full access to the complete product. You only pay if you choose to continue after experiencing real value.

Trial Access

  • WYLE offers a trial period with complete, ungated access to all WYLE features from day one. Trial duration is communicated at sign-up.
  • No credit card or payment information required to start the trial.
  • A payment method may be requested toward the end of the trial to facilitate seamless conversion.
  • Cancel during the trial at any time with no charge.
  • Creating multiple accounts to extend trial access violates the Acceptable Use Policy.

Subscription

  • Subscription pricing is communicated during onboarding and available from the WYLE team. Contact us at info@wyle.ai for details.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. First billing date is the date you activate.
  • All prices in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of applicable UAE VAT where required.
  • WYLE does not store your card details.
  • Subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Price changes require minimum 30 days written notice to existing subscribers.

Invoices and Billing Records

  • Digital receipts sent to your registered email within 24 hours of each successful payment.
  • VAT invoices available on request at support@wyle.ai within 5 business days.
  • Full billing history in Settings > Account > Billing History.
2.2

App Store and Play Store Billing

If you subscribe via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, billing is governed by Apple's or Google's terms, not solely this document.

  • App Store refunds: visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Play Store refunds: visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
  • WYLE cannot process refunds for App Store or Play Store charges.
  • To cancel an App Store subscription: iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. For Play Store: Google Play > Account > Subscriptions.

App Store and Play Store refund decisions are made by Apple and Google respectively. WYLE cannot override these decisions.

Payment Failure and Retry

  • Day 0 (renewal date): first attempt. If it fails, you are notified by email immediately.
  • Day 3: second retry. Reminder email with link to update your payment method.
  • Day 5: third and final retry. Final warning email.
  • Day 7: account suspended if unresolved. Service becomes read-only.
  • Day 37 (30 days after suspension): encrypted data permanently deleted if payment remains unresolved.
  • To resolve: update your payment method in Settings > Account > Billing, or email support@wyle.ai.

Your data is always preserved for 30 days after suspension, giving you ample time to resolve payment issues without losing any information.

Cancellation

  • Cancel at any time in Settings > Account > Subscription > Cancel, or by emailing support@wyle.ai.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access for the remainder.
  • After the billing period ends, Service becomes read-only. Buddy ceases active execution.
  • Your encrypted data is preserved for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
  • Reactivate within the 30-day window to restore all data instantly.
  • Confirmation sent to your registered email within 24 hours.
3.1

Subscription Pause

  • Pause your subscription for up to 30 consecutive days once per 12-month period.
  • During a pause, billing is suspended. Service becomes read-only.
  • Your data is fully preserved during the pause.
  • To activate a pause, contact support@wyle.ai at least 3 days before your next renewal.
  • Subscription resumes automatically at the end of the pause period.

Refund Policy

4.1

First-Month Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with WYLE within the first 30 days of your first paid subscription, we will issue a full refund - no questions asked.

  • Applies to your first paid month only and cannot be claimed more than once per account.
  • Email support@wyle.ai within 30 days of your first payment with subject "Satisfaction Guarantee Refund".
  • Refund processed within 5 business days.
4.2

General Position

After the first month, WYLE operates a no-refund policy for subscription fees because:

  • The trial provides full product access before any payment is required.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly, giving you opportunity to cancel before each renewal.
  • You retain full access for the entire paid period even after cancellation.
4.3

Refund Exceptions

WYLE will issue a full refund of the most recent monthly charge in the following circumstances:

  • Technical failure: platform outage lasting more than 72 continuous hours within your billing period.
  • Duplicate billing: your account was charged more than once for the same period.
  • Unauthorised charge: charge made without your authorisation, with no Service use during the period.
  • Price change: you were charged at a new price after providing notice of cancellation.
  • Consumer protection: where UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 entitles you to a refund.
4.4

Outage Credits

Where a verified WYLE outage lasts between 48 and 72 continuous hours within a billing period, affected subscribers receive a pro-rata credit applied automatically to the following billing cycle.

4.5

Refund Process

  • Satisfaction guarantee (Section 4.1): email support@wyle.ai within 30 days of your first payment.
  • Exception refunds (Section 4.3): email support@wyle.ai within 30 days of the charge, with your account email and description.
  • WYLE acknowledges within 2 business days, resolves within 10 business days.
  • Approved refunds credited to the original payment method (typically 3 to 5 business days for UAE cards).
4.6

Chargebacks

  • If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting WYLE, we may immediately suspend your account pending investigation.
  • We strongly encourage contacting support@wyle.ai before initiating a chargeback. Most billing issues can be resolved faster without bank involvement.

Trial Expiry and Data Preservation

  • On trial expiry without conversion: Service becomes read-only immediately.
  • Grace window: encrypted data preserved. Subscribe to restore full access with all data intact.
  • After the grace window without conversion: encrypted data deleted. This deletion is irreversible.
  • After cancellation: data preserved for 30 days after the final paid billing period, then permanently deleted.
  • WYLE sends reminder notifications before deletion.
5.1

Data Export

  • Navigate to Settings > Account > Export My Data. A downloadable package of your obligations, task history, vendor records, and PVS settings is generated.
  • Export requests processed within 24 hours. You will receive a download link by email.

Corporate Accounts

Corporate pricing for teams of 5 or more users is available. Contact legal@wyle.ai to register interest.

Corporate Pricing

  • Volume discounts for teams of 5+ seats.
  • Monthly or annual billing, with annual billing offering an additional discount.
  • A designated account administrator manages seat allocation, billing, and access controls.
6.2

Corporate Billing

  • Consolidated monthly or annual tax invoices in a format suitable for UAE VAT compliance.
  • Purchase order references can be included on invoices on request.
  • Net-30 payment terms available for approved corporate accounts.

Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the UAE and forms part of the WYLE Terms and Conditions.

  • Billing disputes: raise first with support@wyle.ai. Resolution within 10 business days.
  • Unresolved disputes: subject to the dispute resolution process in the WYLE Terms and Conditions.
  • Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020.
